If it is azan time, the app starts playing the azan (or any event). You can pause and play again. You can also stop, but now you cannot play again.

Why is the app named ‘Minaret’?

The first call to prayers/Salat was made by Hazrat Bilal Razi-Allahu-Anhu in Medina. When Muslims conquered Makkah, Bilal RA climbed atop Ka'ba to say the Azan to call the people for prayers. Based on the act of Bilal RA, Muslims invented Minaret for Azan. Minaret has scientific advantage of spreading louder voice of azan.

Minaret app is aimed to spread the voices of azan and other events happening in the Masjid to every Home that has at least one smartphone. With Minaret app, one can listen to live azan and other events streaming from the Masjid. The users will be up to date with salat times which is maintained by Masjid. Additionally, Masjid can send messages and invitations to its musallis through Minaret app.

We are making Minaret app a channel to relay the voices of all the events happening in the Masjid to our Homes uninterrupted.

Minaret app never sells any data to anyone. No ads, no in-app purchases. It is Totally free, 'Fee-Sabeel-illah', for everyone.
